I'm sure this has been asked from time to time, so here it is again.

What do you carry in your camera bag?

What are your absolute "MUST HAVE" items?

What items do you plan to add to your camera bag?

In my big bag (smaller than most camera bags) I have my S70, my F1000 flash, my adapter ring to fit my polarizer and UV filters, an extra battery, a lens brush and moistened lens papers, extra memory sticks, and this nifty little lens/lcd cloth I got a Circuit City. In my little bag (bigger than a wallet but much smaller than most purses) I have everything except the flash. I usually bring the big bag, but when I'm horseback riding or something, I have no good way to carry it, so I go with the little bag. That's the good thing about the S70, it has a much more user friendly shape as far as bags go, and isn't conspicuous if I'm incognito :-)

I dont use a bag. I have a vest that I can get everything in, or on.

DA is on strap around my neck. If the weather gets bad I have an over-sized rain coat in one of the pockets of the vest. I do have a small bag to protect the DA when I am climbing. Tripod has a pocket on the back of the vest. B300, filters, 5t, 6t, bat, 3-128MS, and have a pocket left over for my wife's 75-300mm. She is still a film person, carrys all of her own gear but the Tele for her Rebel

What do you carry in your camera bag?
my lowepro lynx backpack contains the following:
  • f707
  • 2 extra 128 memory sticks
  • extra battery

  • canon close up lens
  • sony flash

  • lens cap (which i never use)
What are your absolute "MUST HAVE" items?

It depends which bag I'm bringing.

My small bag is just big enough for my S75, lens adapter, and tiffen polarizing filter.

When I mean business, my big bag carries (in addition to the above) a step ring adapter & B-300 tele, and... my Canon EOS630 35mm and its accessories!

Tripod carried separately from bag.

I'm professing total ignorance her. The Sony 2X telephoto (R2052) is widely avaiable for

What do you carry in your camera bag?
In my LCS-FX...
f707 w/ UV protector
2 x 128mb, 1 x 64mb, 1 x16mb
Spare battery

I removed the shoulder straps and put on a wirst strap. The shoulder straps are too long and "dangly" for me.

In my compact accessory bag...I bring when I know I'll need the extras...
HVL-F1000
Remote
Lens Pen
And...The cables and charger and such can fit (snugly) in the bag
Also...Bogen/Manfrotto Self Standing Monopod (carried)
What are your absolute "MUST HAVE" items?
Camera, extra sticks, and spare battery.
What items do you plan to add to your camera bag?
IR filter, ND filters, and maybe the Bogen 3265 head.
A fish-eye would be fun, but I'd get a wide-angle first.

Patrick

the camera (S85)
Flash unit (HVL-F1000)
filters
extra memory sticks
lens cleaning cloth
spare battery
Manfrotto mini-tripod
(from time to time) Polaris light meter
I'm sure this has been asked from time to time, so here it is again.

Sheesh....after reading the above responces I almost feel naked!

Heres what I carry:
Backpack.(with no motifs to suggest I have camera gear inside)
Zipped bag with DA, extra MS, L/Polorizer + UV filters.
40cm tripod extendable to 1.5mts.
All the cables and CD's that came with the DA.
F1000 flash + extra batteries.
White foam cup for W/B when I need it.
Floppy MS reader.
707 manual (just in case)
ShayTech flash bouncer.
Wind sheild sun deflector.
Headache tablets.
Lens cloth

Things I would like to add:
Wide angle adapter.
Extra 707 battery.
IR filters.
Remote.

Cheers

I am lazy so I preffer to carry as least as possible. My camera bag is very small and it can only contain:
  • the F707
  • one filter with case (polarizer)
  • 3 x 128 MB MS + 1 x 16MB (I wonder I'm ever gonna use it)
I also carry several things in my pockets:
  • additional battery
  • mini tripod (in my jacket -the F1000 flash fits in the other when needed)
  • and a case with glasses where I keep the lens cloth
And that's all - I don't need anything else

Hmmm, in my bag I always have the following:

1 – Sony DSC-F707 Digital Still Camera (stickers removed, lens cap attached per manual)
1 – Hoya Super HMC UV Filter (on camera)
1 – Minds@Work 3 GB Digital Wallet (actually 4.5 GB) & Cable Adapter
1 – Sony PCMCIA MS Adapter

1 – Sony 128 MB Memory Stick (paid $149.99US for it in Nov. and could scream absolutely everytime I see the Lexars at $59.99 now)
1 – Sony 16 MB Memory Stick (came with F707)
1 – ShayTech Bounce Flash Enhancer

1 – 6” x 6” piece of white cardstock (for WB, additional bounce, etc…)
1 – 3’ USB standard cable
1 – Video Out cable
Manuals for the F707
Lens Tissue
Hearing aid batteries

When travelling, I also have in my bag:
F707 USB cable
Charger for F707 (does it have to be so D@#!!! big!)

Charger for Digital Wallet (Sony, take a look at this thing compared to the brick you make!)
Palm Vx
Hearing aid case and dry pouch
Pens
Keys
Sunglasses
(nowhere on this list will you find Cell Phone)

In reality, I carry a small Case Logic pouch with just the F707, DW & accessories, and some personal items when out and about while traveling. The big bag and chargers, et. al. get left in the hotel room.

Other items I would like to put in my camera bag:
2 – 128 MB Memory Sticks
A 1.5x telephoto lens extender
HVL-F1000 Flash
A small P&S digicam (P5 or P9 maybe or, ideally, S75)
An extra FM50 battery
A bigger camera bag!
