Especially #1 and #3. For #3, did your subject have a stucco wall as a backdrop, or did you add noise to give that "parchment" effect? Nicely done, either way. B/W truly enhances the visual drama here.

Thanks John, .... yes, #3 did have a very light colored stucco wall and hence the parchment effect .... glad you liked them.

The apparenttly simple and uninteresting subjects have been transformed and have an amazing emotional charge. These somehow touched a nerve and it was not just the optic nerve.

Thanks for sharing and continuing to inspire.

I am trying to figure out the first pic. I can follow the reflections of the rails but when I start looking at what looks like shadows of the rails they line up to the left but as you progress to the right they don't line up. They must not be the rail shadows. Looks more like some type of Escher work. In fact all three have a very artsie feel. Good job Aftab.

Thanks Dave ..... glad you liked these .... first picture from another angle

it was a bridge on a small river ... we went out that afternoon for some shoot out, landscape was in our mind ...but, day was cloudy with intermittent rains and intermittent sunshine, so I concentrated on other things like shapes, reflections and shadows etc. and I was happy with what I got out of LX2 .... good thing about LX2 is that it challenges me with composition and I always end up with some keepers.
