This is another Indian River (Titusville, FL) picture.

Sorry you have to scroll in this window. As I'm sure you know, you can click on the picture to see it in its own window. These just do not work very well in a smaller size.

Thanks.

Great colors ! And I agree that smaller size won't do the justice for this picture.

What can I say? Beautiful seems like a small word! I could give my
right arm to live where such scenery existed!

Kind regards,
Good afternoon Lasse,

Good afternoon Pondria,

Fred Miranda's Digital Velvia helped some on the color :-). Thank you for the vote on the larger size.

Another great picture Hugh. Everytime I think you can't outdo yourself, you prove me wrong. This would be terrific enlarged and hung on the wall.

Good afternoon Flip,

This is the first I've processed from that session. I have several others that I think are a bit better than this one. So, I can, maybe, surprise you one more time :-). This one is certainly in the set of potential images to be printed.

Thank you for the fine complimentary comments.

Hugh,

I'm without words...

Unbelievable shot, and what a dramatic colors! I never could think that emptiness could be so beautifull.

What technique (specifically what whitebalance) did you use to maintain these colors?

Good afternoon Alfred,

This is a scan from Fuji Velvia. The scanner and PhotoShop use the sRGB ICC profile. I enhanced saturation a bit with Fred Miranda's Digital Velvia action for PhotoShop, and sharpened with Larry's action. That's it.

My next post will probably be D1x pictures from this session. They are very similar in color balance.

Thank you for the compliments. I'm very pleased you like the pictures.

Good afternoon Beth,

Thank you for the comment. This time of year, with the relatively low humidity does provide some amazing sunrises and Velvia seems to be made to capture them.

Very Dramatic. I like it!
