**What settings do you use when you are in bright sunlight?

I deal with bright sun everyday HAWAII...
White balance= auto
image adjusment= less contrast.....

also you can use metering spot, but the best way is to take more than 1 shot like in this case, but if I'm shooting action windsurfing I always try to underexpose.(esay to fix in PS).

Thanks Frances, will turn town image contrast next time I am in the sunlight. On the 995 there are alot of cheap places that may be selling gray market. Here is a list from Pricegrabber

Most of the shister places will try to add on accessories and if you don't buy all of a sudden they don't have a camera..

Frances, I looked long and hard for the 995. Best legit deal I could find and be sure of the service on time and delivery is Photoalley.com. they go for $899 - $100 summer promotion = $799 Then I entered their site from Ebates. Ebates gives their own promotions. In the case I Photoalley it is 4% of $799 I figure to be -$32. which I see after the dust settles as $767 delivered 2 day Fed Ex. That is assuming Ebates delivers as they have continued to do so far for me. Hope that helps.
