I thought I would share these mainly in response to the recent review I read here. The OP took a Stylus 1 to South America but seemed to have a world of problems with focus etc.

I found it to be generally a great camera to travel with. Unobtrusive and very easy to carry in one hand or in a small pouch. The menu was intuitive and once the SuperControlPanel was activated it is one of the most enjoyable cameras to use. The focus was super quick and it allowed me to capture some nice images. All shots were handheld.

Very nice collection of photos.

I didn't know what Capoeria was, so I looked it up, found this

They are great shots, I am going to take mine out more often, will use
a pouch type case. I do carry my Panasonic Zs50 all the time but the profile is
much smaller than the Stylus 1.

Like Elliott I found a new word in your posting, "Clowder of cats".

I love these (and those in your other thread) samples of you work. Wide range of subject matter, thoughtful composition, great colors, nicely processed. Also a wonderful demonstration of the capabilities of the Stylus 1. IQ that defies the small sensor nature of the camera. Can't say I have a favorite, but I got a good laugh of the cat stretching out its wing.

That drive by hit piece review of the Stylus 1 fits a formula I've seen in multiple forums. I decided not to feed the troll.

I never had Cat Chowder, now finally, at long last, someone finds some use for them!

Wow! Love your photos. Thanks for posting 😀
