Best price for Canaon S820 in Canada?

I just purchased a Canon S820 from staples in BC for $300 plus tax. I have 5 days to try it out. I have been seeing other posts claiming they can buy it for $79.00 after rebate (USD). Should I be ordering from the states? Any Canadians get super deals on their Canon S820 lately?

I got it for Can$279 at Best Buy and have seen it for 275 at computer store ads. I think we are really out of luck for the great deals. Also, we don't have the mail in offer like they do in the states.
