Gidday all,

Thanks for joining us :)

Welcome to the Sunday Cat!, brought to you from around the world by the loyal team of regulars every Sunday since Anton AK first started the thread on 23rd Sept 2007 and so faithfully continued by John King from 10th August 2008.

And a special welcome to all the new people who joined in last weeks thread :)

Photos can be more than just art, they can be memories, so come share your picture and stories of your feline companions with us Come one, come all; all cats and cameras welcome. Add your favourite cat shot to the collection. No time limits, taken any time, any place, any camera.

The weekly news:

it's winter here in NZ at the moment, and the rain means Dusty is spending more time than usual sleeping, but he seems extra hyperactive in his brief moments awake... i'm sure how he does it!

Thanks, as always, to the regulars from around the world that maintain this thread. This is truly an international exercise each week, and we appreciate you all!!

I have been away from these forums for a very long time, not even looking at them actually for a couple of year but now that I looked I was happy to see that this thread is still alive as I used to post cat photos there. Now I have got a cat of my own, he is called Pepper and is a Somali. He is a very talkative cat, fortunately he doesn't talk very loudly.

Here are some early photos of him.

This smells like the 100-400 lens, it's a good one

Playing with the pink ball

Stretching as far as he can

All the best and have a good sunday

Our tomcat, quite relaxed

After 9 months they finally are friends. But only for 5 minutes if lunch is in sight ...

As you see our cat has a new "friend". The dog had to learn who is the boss, now they share a peaceful moment from time to time...

If so, now will be easy for him to see 3D pictures.

Also Robertj's wife can see stereo pictures, so I will post some of my 3D stereo pictures:

A very nice crew.

I post some stereo pictures for Warriormouse and your wife that can see cross-eyes 3D pictures.

I only made a mistake and put them under other replay in this tread. Tell me when you get glasses and I will post 3D anaglyps also.

Sunday cat again, where to find some cat images, of course the archives.

The cats are not alllowed on the dining table, but when we are not around.

Hi Zeev,

The idea is fantastic, I really love 3D photos...

But I had some problems cross-eying your stereos. I think at least the last one is crossed, the right eye should not see around the corner of the wall. PleasPlease change the left/right side and post again ...

With your permission I edited the last one:

Thank you, Cris for looking and commenting.

Maybe you do not enlarge the photos. They are 1920 pixels wide at full screen. I have no problem seeing them in cross-eyes at full resolution. The last picture is OK to me.

I tried switching L-R and the result is a flat picture for cross-eyes viewing. Is good for parallel view and I am not so good for this method.

Here is the picture:

Again, click on the pictures to enlarge them.

Oh yes, you are right. But I can not cross my eyes this much.

I can only look straight to the pictures to overlap them, for this they have to be as wide as my eye distance. 1920 pixel screen surely is much more than my eye distance.

Very sad for me because the 1920 resolution in 3D surely would look very good. But I have to live with the small version and in this case I have to flip the picture ...

Yeah, he has some cool stuff, that 100-400 is a real gem, I use it all the time (whenever he lets me borrow it)
I am sure you will see more of him, it is good to have something to constantly practise my pet photography skills on again...
