Hi,

I want to purchase one of the above cameras.
I understood that there is no much differences between those 2 cameras.

But the problem is that I prefers the nx210 because it has the 18-55 OIS lens and the nx1000 has the 20-50 but it cost about 30% more!

Which camera is better in the price is taking out of consideration?

I cant help but sideline you by suggesting to get an nx200 for a bargain price they have been going for lately from various resellers at various times :)

dunno where you are but in US, Fry's Electronics had em for like $450 including 18-55mm kit!

I just checked their website and this week their price is back up to 'real expensive'.

But if you keep your eyes on their website from week to week, B&H's, Adorama, Henry's, you will find a very agreeable price compared to the newer models you quoted. Disregard if you are definitely after the nx1000 or 210 ;)

Do not under estimate the 20-50 lens. I know it does not have IS but it is honestly a very sharp kit lens. I have used a bunch of cheap DSLR 18-55 kit lens and the 20-50 is better than most.

Thanks for your reply Dave and Todd.

I convinced that the 20-50 is a good lens and I'm gonna purchase the NX1000
The NX1000 with the 20-50 is excellent. The lens is very good. I have one with my NX1000 and am very pleased with it. The 18-55 is good too but not as good as the 20-50. As ever with lenses there are variations between copies. I can back the photozone result below

the 20-50 has a slightly better IQ and compact. 18-55 has a quick AF.

I face the same dilemma not too long ago. I ended up going home with the NX1000 is it seemed to be better value. The main advantage the NX210 has is the AMOLED screen and the 18-55mm OIS lens. You really gotta ask yourself if those two features are worth $200 (actually, for me the difference was more like $230 as the NX1000 was also on sale at the time). I decided that OIS is handy, but the 20-50mm lens gets good reviews for a kit lens and has somewhat better IQ as others have mentioned. I'd recommend you save the cash and just buy a nice prime lens like the 30mm F2 or perhaps a zoom lens like the 50-200mm. If you want the 30mm, there's a wicked sale on right now you might want to take advantage of but you gotta act fast:
