Z8 - video AF speed using AF-C

I recently acquired a Z8, but I don't yet have any Z lenses, which is required for controlled AF speed.

So, I'm wondering, does the setting for focus speed (g6 in the menu) apply when using AF-C in video mode, or just AF-F?
