Hello all, well ive just posted my new site http://www.triggerhappy.ca a couple hours ago and i could really use some feedback from people with funky browsers, and if anyones having any troubles with the Quick time VRs. I will be replacing most of the images shortly im just learning how to embed movies and am a bit of a twit when it comes to html. I just want to get this thing finished and working :)

Funky browsers?? =;-)

I use Opera v7.5 and your site works pretty good! My only nit is the size of the text (too small). I also tried the site in MSIE and the font size was the same. So the text size 'problem' was not due to my 'funky browser'.

Actually it has an enter and a contact button :) but i do see your point..i kinda agree, and i only just added it. Im comping up bussiness cards and thought it would be nice to tie it all together- hhmm

Everything works on my old iMac with ie. While the front page looks classy I agree about the enter button. Since you want to highlight your VR panoramas - thats what should be on the front page

--Works fine on my old Mac using Internet Explorer too.

About the "front page" -- I like it. It's only a "wasted page" for today's hyper, caffeinated, running-a-mile-a-minute gentry. For the rest of us it's a tasteful, bright book cover, within which lies the promise of more nice images. Keep it! If some browsers are too impatient to click to enter, they stand to miss something nice. Too bad for them.
God bless,

hehe thanks deecy..i kinda went through that same thought process when i went and added it last minute, because the site is also brand new its going to evolve over time and eventually i will have a secure sign-in for clients off the front page in the future, and instead of having to redo the whole site i thought id just park a nice splash page to start...food for thought

.... at a starting price of 49$, your hourly rate must suck. I take a minimum half day to go to location, set up, lighting etc, shoot several panos to make sure I get a good one, return to base and create some pano options for QTVR or banner use. And this is for regular realtors and chamber of commerce types (without an art director) who are amazed by a poor quality pano poster or QTVR. My minimum is 500$, but usually runs several grand for the finished product. I also know of one person in the area who does a QTVR for 99$, but his stitching looks pretty amateur, he does not optimize the rendering for the web, and the pixelization is obvious. (the realtors like it, but they have such an easy time selling anything now that they are really cheap about paying for good images)

Anyway, I like your site -- it loads fast, has a current look with lots of white space, good luck but raise your prices!

Thanks for the kind words. I totally agree :)..$49* is the start for "creation" of the lowest budget cylinder (which with some aplications i can stitch in 5 mins) I just wanted to try to build a customer base. Since i have a $40 000 student loan and currently work for minumum wage selling professional digital products i have to get out and start shooting. I would charge a bundle for a high quality cubic, but i dont want to scare off the small realtors either..Im still working on better text but as a visual person im having a tough time :) I will make some changes asap
Have fun
