In the comparison post you have the X2D showing no focus peaking with magnification. I am curious on this as I see peaking with 1:1 magnification on my X2D with the 35-75 and 135mm. Actually to my eyes superior to the GFX 100II peaking at 100 percent.

Thanks

Paul

Same here, all my lenses (include 25V, 38V, 90V, 21, 135, HC300 and adapted canon, Leica, Contax lenses) can see peaking @ 1:1 magnification on my X2D, But it's much less noticeable than when it's not enlarged

Thanks

Agree. I use this all the time. I set the back wheel to click to zoom and the focus assist to peaking. Then I simply use the focus ring on any of the V lenses to click into manual and then click on the back wheel. Great peaking at 100%.

Maybe they added it. I'll go back and check. Can you describe precisely how you invoked it?

Jim, I just choose focus, Manual assist, peaking, and color. Not sure why the X2D does not offer white for the selection. I currently use either cyan or Magenta as they seem to show up the best.

I am on 3.1 of firmware, and hav not updated yet to 3.2.

I am pretty much always in MF with the X2D, but often will use the AF-D feature.

Thanks. I'll check it out, but probably won't get to it until tomorrow.

I took a look, and couldn't see it.

Here's what it looks like with the GFX 100II:

Strange. As I see it clearly.

Both with 35-75. On the edge of the chair you can see the peaking (it’s not CA) and in the pine needles. Took these rather quickly but peaking shows. Wonder why it won’t show on a Siemens star?
