Well here is my first attempt at a 3D wiggle pic! Next time though I will post one with a lot depth to it they tend to look even better, since precieved depth = 3D =)

Here is the best pic I have seen that makes use of this effect



There are a number of them out there but I still don't think it is a very well known method compared to all the other 3D stuff out there

The very interesting thing about it is that even people with 1 eye can perceive depth again and enjoy this method of 3D unlike any other method currently out there. I could go into more depth on why this works but your best reading it straight from the source like I did months ago. I think I either ran across it from looking up 3D stuff a long while ago or I read the article comments about something 3D at http://www.digg.com which also mentions this article.

oh yea, my gif above and flash is yes only 2 frames going back and forth in 0.1 second intervals

true that is why I advise people not to stare too long lol and it is why when they tried making 3D movies using this method it failed....

Granted though my attempt is more wobbly than the other ones that do a better job of it. But basicly it is supose to work like those flip books you see except back and forth between 2 frames.
