I am watching a Mike Burke YT video - and he's using a Flashpoint R2 Single Pin Transceiver to trigger a camera that has a Flashpoint R2 Pro MarkII Transmitter on it's hot shoe. How is this possible?
Can a Transceiver Trigger a Transmitter?
I can understand how a Transmitter can trigger a Transceiver, but the other way around? That doesn't make sense.
I'd like to use the inexpensive Transceiver as a remote shutter release - with the Transmitter firing the flash (communicating with the AD200 flash)
I already own the Pro MarkII Transmitter - buy have been using the shutter release button on the camera. I'd really like to be able to be away from the camera when triggering the shutter/flash.
Thoughts?
thanks.
