The moon with a twist

Was trying out my new E-500 tonight, along with the lens I bought from ebay for 99 pence (yes, really!), and I got this lucky shot. I had just changed a few settings when I looked through the viewfinder and thought "what on Earth (well not actually ON Earth) is that stripe?" I looked up at the sky and realised a plane had just flown right in front of the moon, leaving a vapour trail.

I was seriously lucky to get this shot, it must be one in a million!



I guess if I had been quicker, I could have got the plane in shot too, lol.

That's great! You could have said it was Saturn and I just might have believed you

Would have been amazing if the plane had been in the shot too.

It isn't just the plain ole moon. I had to give it a try brightening up the black to see if the plane happened to be hiding there, but I couldn't see it hiding in the black. Still, an interesting variation on the moon.

You purchased the lense for 99 p ?? Are you sure it was from eBay and not Asda ??
