The July full moon is also called the "Buck Moon". The sun had dipped behind the mountains while waiting for the moon to appear. Knowing a local buck frequented an apple tree 230 yds. across the field I looked through 10x binoculars. It was way too dark for visibility with the naked eye. With my S1 settings maxed out and with computer and photoshop help you can just make out the silhouette of the buck, taken on the night of the "Buck Moon".
I did the composite just for a convenient comparison.

Yes, the S1 zoom is handy. I presume the indicated settings were for the original moon shot.
