Replicate the OM-3 color settings in Workspace?

I love the idea of the color settings on the OM-3 (used to have a Pen-F and regret selling it). But I'm leaning toward the OM-1 MKII because of the joystick and the grip. So: is it possible to replicate the OM-3 color settings in Workspace?

You can save and apply presets in Workspace. I'm not aware if Workspace can copy a custom in-camera preset, but the WS color tools should be able to mimic one.

I'd take RAW+jpeg then try to match the jpeg's look using WS tools adjusting the ORF. Once close enough, save the adjustments.

Happy experimenting,

Rick

There is a setting in WS that will replicate the JPEG settings as a profile for the ORF conversion to tiff. At least that’s how mine work.

However I don’t think WS will use the OM-3 settings on a non-OM-3 file.

That feature seems to vary camera by camera. Olympus software long had a policy of some cameras can access some other cameras' features but does not work with every combination. It is truly a case of testing if your camera of choice can access the OM-3 features within Workspace.

Most cameras seem to be able to access a slightly wider set of features than in the particular camera itself. Only testing will tell how far that extends. Grab a raw file or two from examples here at DPReview and test. Here's one https://www.dpreview.com/sample-gal...system-om-1-mark-ii-sample-gallery/8047587707

Otherwise you are doomed to buy something like DxO Nik Collection to get an endless array of variations.
