It's been awhile since I took the Pro1 to Lancaster.

These are the better ones that I liked.

(The farmers were busy out in the fields and driving on the back roads has its advantages)

Tobacco getting ready for harvest.

Thanks Sue,

I always enjoy seeing the Amish at work and amazed at their dedication.

Thanks Hamdan,

Lancaster is one of my favorite place to photograph and so much to see and do here.

Have a good day and nice to see you.

Very nice, Sue Anne,
It is fun to see farming work done with the old horse team and equipment. Looks like they are stil getting some serious work done. :)

Thank you Dale,

There were a lot of farming being done, especially harvesting the tobacco.

In time, the corn will be next.

Images look rather soft, not sharp at all.
Are you viewing the images at my 'original' size?

On my monitor, they look sharp but then again, many of these are cropped and I think in the direct sunlight, the images may be effected too.

Also for landscapes, the whole picture can not be sharp if my Av is f4.0

(the far trees will be abit on the blur side)

Or maybe my Pro1 is a dud....

So true and through you, sharing your pics, we can also see... :-D

Well the photo of the 2 people is definitely soft or blurry. And the others could use more sharpening.

Thank you Moris,

The Amish always intrigues me with the manual ways of farming.

I was lucky to see them out in the fields that day.

Have a good evening too. (:

Yes that picture of my kids were taken indoors with the light of the open door at 1/30s f/2.8 at 10.6mm and since I only took one of them, I will settle for their smiles.

As far as the rest, I do not like to over sharpen, and the memories of the Amish is fine with me and on my original size, they look how I saw it that afternoon.
