I keep forgetting to switch off "SR" when panning (or switch to the 'Panning SR' mode), which is probably why these photos in this sequence are not as sharp at 100% as they possibly could be? But I was happy that the K-3iii and this lens and TC combination kept track of the Pelicans with all the background and other birds.
I didn’t realise that you’re meant to until I got the K3iii and saw that there is a panning SR mode, but it was Ozdean who mentioned that you should just turn off SR when panning as the SR just fights against it. Fortunately there is a fast hard button to do this.
