Augustin, that is really beautiful. Is the color in the dragonfly's wings from light reflected off the flowers? Make a wall poster from this one and smile, whenever you see it.

Thank you very much, Steve my friend, for that wonderful suggestion!

I think the colored reflection in the wings comes from the violet-brownish young leaves of the rose bush the dragonfly is standing on. I was surprised too of it :)

Great capture, Augustin! And yes, very colorful.

Do you allow me to be annoying? :-)

I see some artifacts, mainly in the green background, probably due to post processing.

These appear only when viewed at full size.

Anyway, super photo! Thanks for sharing.

Andre my friend, you're, as always, dead right in your remarks! Because the background had been underexposed, I "lighted" it in a crude manner, by using FastStone :(

I'm proud however that you like my image, because your opinions are valuable for me and, not less important, they are sincere.
