OM-1 mk2 firmware v1.2 update available

I just got an email from OM Systems saying there is a new firmware available.

Of course, OI.Share on my iPhone didn't show a firmware update option.... no matter how many times I tried.

Then I tried OM Workspace on my Mac, but there is some kind of hinky permissions that need to be enabled by DISabling some security settings, so that was a no-go.

Finally I install OI.Share on my iPad and THAT shows an update available, which I am applying now. Wish me luck!

Firmware applied, all settings lost (as expected), but it was easy enough to restore all of them.

I'm looking forward to seeing if this update solves the issues of the "no blackout" SH1/SH2 modes sometimes actually blacking out. It wasn't a serious-enough issue (yet?!) for me to consider sending it in for service, but it has been a bit annoying to have to shut off and restart the camera to get that mode to work properly.

The issue I was having with the screen blacking out (like, stays black until I let go of the shutter) in SH2 mode no longer occurs. I was shooting my grandson's Ultimate Frisbee competition this afternoon and the OM-1 was flawless all afternoon.
