New OM-1.2 is stuck in "P" mode for C1-4 dial modes

I tried to set C3 custom mode, something happened and when I set mode dial to C3 or C4 then camera is stuck in "P" mode. C2, C3 and all other modes worked fine.

I decided to restore camera to initial settings using

Wrench->> 6. reset --> Initialize all settings

and now camera is stuck "P" mode for C1, C2, C3, C4. Other modes (at least "M") seem to work as usual.

Any advice before I sent new camera for repair?

1. Set control dial to M

2. Press "Menu" 1. Basic Settings/Image Quality, select "Custom Mode"

3. Select C1 by pressing "OK"

4. Select "Assign"

5. Select "Set"

6. Turn the control dial to C1.

There’s nothing wrong with the camera. You did a reset, and P is the default.

When you set or create a custom mode, it inherits whatever shooting mode (P/A/S/M) you were in when you set it.

So if you want a custom mode to be S (shutter priority) the turn the mode dial to S, configure your other settings, and then set the custom mode. It will be S.

Once the shooting mode of a custom mode has been set, it cannot be changed. To change it, you have to recreate the custom mode.
