Since I got my Z8, it’s been my go to camera. About the only time I use the Z6II is when I need two different lenses quickly on a shoot. The difference in controls and handling has gotten harder the less I have used the Z6. I find my self stumbling to change settings.
I finally broke down and traded the Z6 in on a second Z8. I spent a lot of time customizing settings and changing button and dial functions to my liking on the first Z8. Does anyone know of it’s possible to load all of my settings on an SD card from the original Z8 so I can mirror all the settings on the second one?

Yes of you save the settings onto the card, it can be shared with same model camera bodies

Yup. That's how I set up my 2nd Z8.

Thanks, I’ll have to look for a how to video

To save settings on the Nikon Z8, ensure an SD card is inserted, then navigate to the settings menu and select "Save/Load settings." Choose "Save menu settings" to store your current configurations on the card.

I wish Nikon would handle the settings file differently. Ideally, you could save setting files to the camera itself and not rely on a memory card.

I save my setting file to the SD card since I typically don't use it. If I saved it to the CF Express card, the file would be deleted any time I formatted the card.

I also have 2 Z8's. Basically, you need to have an SD card with your settings saved to the card. It's just a little bit of a pain to remove the CF Express card so the camera can find the settings on the CD card.
