Need some help finding a magnetic filter kit containing UV, CPL, NDs, 1/4 Black Mist.

The problem is that so far, all the UV (or Splash protection) filters in these kits that I've checked, from popular brands, are threaded and they don't sit well in the magnetic base, it keeps falling off. I have an URTH kit and it's like that.

The idea is to have a filter for all light sits, UV or Black Mist for indoor, ND or CPL if I go outside in bright light, Black Mist for night shots, etc..

I hope that it makes sense what I'm trying to explain here.

Don't confuse a UV filter with a protection filter. If you just want protection then you need a NC filter.

I did buy a Kase magnetic ND filter but this was to use in the rear filter holder of Nikon 400TC and 600TC lenses and I was concerned that the filter could move from the holder and get caught inside the lens, so I didn't use it. However, you might see what Kase has to offer.

Thanks Alan. No, I'm not mistaken the UV with protection filter, either one would work for me.

In the Kase case 😄, I've had a look, and it wasn't clear to me if they have what I want so I've sent them an e-mail, like a week or so ago... I'm still waiting for an answer.

Cheers

Have you investigated the Nisi JetMag filter system

I know. Seems much closer now.

I have, and highly recommend, Maven magnetic filter system. They have all the styles you're looking for, and even some ones I would never have thought of. I got tired of waiting for Breakthrough to flush out their magnetic system.

Similar to most brands- color coded and knurled edges. --
