The temp outside today was about 30 degrees F, but no snow on the ground, and the sun was out so it was calling me to find some macro subjects. Here is what I found.

This is some moss growing between patio paver bricks.

Some Wolf's Milk, a species of slime mold, on a piece of wood.

I flipped over some old wood and took the following shots.

There was a small patch of ice crystals is a few spots. This is a stack of 5 shots.

Another stack of 4 shots in about the same spot.

A tiny Bog Leafhopper was slowly crawling on top of the soil.

A common striped woodlouse with a splash of yellow on his head was crawling by an old snail shell.

You did a good job of surprising me and facenating at the same time.

The moss has a lot of detail.

I had no idea that ice crystals would not look like snow flakes or frost. The shap is so different.

I have never seen a woodlouse with color.

Interesting shots.
