As of macOS Sequoia 18.3 the OS and Photos app now support uncompressed RAW (RAF) files from the X100VI. Happy that the extra step to convert to DNG is no longer needed. Took em' an entire year though. ಠ_ಠ
This point release apparently came out in late January, but I just noticed it for the first time when importing some photos. Thought I'd share as others might have been afflicted with this situation.
