No one at Sony can tell me how I can access the images from my DSC F55 on my Macintosh G3, directly through the computer or with a Memory
Stick adapter.

Any ideas

I bought a Memory Stick/PC Card Adapter (MSAC-PC2) and a USB PC Card reader.
Under $300 canadian altogether and works great. Fast too.

Anyone know how to hook up a F55 to an older mac with serial ports?
Sony does not have any answers. . .

I just got a DSC-F55 and apparently the box was missing manual and CD. I have yet to be able to download from the camera to IMac USB.

Do you know any alternative software? My IMac also Runs Windows 98 and 2000, but I prefer OS9 on the Mac.

The Palm pilot has a serial to Mac adapter with the MacPac $5 - $10, as do many cameras, but the price is right with the Palm.

I tried my Palm USB to Serial Mac cable, but no photos.

Any ideas anyone please.

I'm guessing they use the same drivers as the 505. On the 505 you copy two extensions to your
system folder, and ... that's it. Wish I could help you get the software.
