Lightroom converted DNG filesize

a interesting behavior I noticed with my a1II and a7R V is that:

- after DNG conversion, the a1II file size grows.

- but usually the same conversion on the a7RV saves about 10% of file size.

Both converting from lossless compressed ARW to lossless compressed DNG.

Any insights?

Are using dng converter or appyling noise reduction in Lightroom and looking st resulting dng?

Adobe DNG converter 17.2 compresses files to have uncompressed you need to go into legacy option

A7R V ARW file 79.2 MB DNG 60.4 (smaller)

A1 ARW file 68.9 MB DNG 56.8 (smaller)

Using lightroom export as DNG produces exactly the same result

However if you create a DNG as result of noise reduction the process may result in more compression as noise is eliminated
