LED recommendation for digitising slides with camera and macro lens

I have a slide digitising set up constructed of Lego and Duplo on a Lego baseplate. This cradles a Panasonic GX9 with a 30mm macro lens. The slides are held in a dedicated holder. Currently I use a diffused flash behind the slide holder with a wireless trigger for illumination. The lighting is a bit fiddly and I wondered about using a small LED panel instead of flash. The LED source would have to be quite powerful and would require good diffusion. Has anyone used LEDs for this purpose and have you any recommendations?

I use a Ulanzi VL 49 light. It's the perfect size for 35mm film, has adjustable intensity and color temperature, can run for hours on its rechargeable battery, and is not expensive. However, it has a matrix of two different LED elements, so a separate diffusion panel (which my setup already has) is a necessity. Maybe you could improvise something for that.

I think any of the CRI 95 panels on Amazon, like the one Ishwanu recommends, would work fine. You can spend 10 times as much for a Negative Supply panel, which claims to be CRI 97, but I doubt you would see any difference in color accuracy.

I like a larger panel, because it doubles as a light table for examining negatives, and gives me more flexibility in my camera arrangement.

You should post a picture of your Lego/Duplo setup. Sounds awesome...

Not sure why the light source would have to be particularly strong. The phone has a very distinct pattern so you'd probably need a diffusion layer too. Easy to try anyway.

This is my setup. The chickens are not strictly necessary but the technical staff have proven their worth.

Where is the film plane in that photo?

And do I see internal blackening of the colorful tunnel (which would be a good idea)?
