So I have the monthly plan for photography and see Amazon uk have a good deal for 12 months of the same plan via purchase of a code

my question is - what’s the best way to use the code ? Do I literally have to cancel my subscription plan and then take out a new planning using the code ? Do I do this using my same Adobe user credentials? Will I temporarily lose access to my apps ?

I have done this.

You log into your Adobe account and enter the code on the appropriate page (I had to Google this page BTW as I couldn't find it in my Adobe account).

The code adds 12 months of the photography plan after your current subscription finishes. It doesn't affect your current subscription. You don't cancel anything. Your Adobe apps keep working as normal.

Example: You current sub finishes on March 31 2025. After adding this code your current sub still finishes on March 31 2025 but you don't pay anything for the year 1 April 2025 to March31 2026 (the 12 month code from Amazon). On April 1st 2026 your subscription as you have it now auto renews and you start paying again.

Does anyone know if the Amazon UK code will work in other countries?

Hi Pov2,

Details regarding eligibility can be found Here . For the UK/ Europe, the list is -

I think if you buy from Amazon UK/ Europe but reside outside of this list, things may go very badly when you try to register the activation code with Adobe.

Also of note to the OP (and others) is the fact that the annual licences can be 'stacked', so when you find a good deal, you can buy and bank multiple years.

I'm actually curious as I just renewed my annual subscription to lock in my price (so I paid the $120 plus tax), but can you "stack" your annual subscription. For example, mine was going to expire in Jan 2025 but since I renewed, it's extended (currently) to Jan 2025. Can I buy another prepaid subscription card and extend it further to Jan 2026?

My fear is that Jan 2026 the plan will go to $20 per month and while an extra $10 per month isn't the end of the world (as it would still be good value for what you get even at $20 per month), if I can stack up my prepaid subscription for 2-3 years, I might just do that as I'm not likely to leave Adobe.
