How low can you go?

Not as low as yours, but possibly rather less lethargic! Lovely cat, by the way. Both shots tricky to impossible without an articulating screen.

someone ( was it you BM) wrote about putting cam on a monopod holding pod upside down articulating screen to take low shots.

Not me, Terrier - I'm pretty sure it Dwayne Oakes.
 
With my P7100 I can go really low. Not shot upside to down, but even bottom to up!

I love macro/close-up with wide angle to include the subject into its environment.

Your dog doesn't look too happy! But you should be - great shot.
 
I know; it's just anthropomorphism on my part. The wrinkles add to his character and that of his breed. And it is a great shot!
