I want to get a good UHS II V60 SD card for my new XT-50 and I noticed that Lexar are considerably cheaper than other brands, in the UK at least.

For example a Lexar Silver Pro 64GB is £17.99 whilst a SanDisk Extreme PRO 64GB is £37. I could even get a 128GB Lexar and still have change from £32!

Ive heard that Lexar has had reliability issues in the past, but is that still the case? Both cards are listed as compatible with the XT-50 on the Fujifilm website.

Has anyone had any issues using Lexar cards with their fujis?

I use Lexar silver V60's (128Gb & 64Gb) in my X-T5. i have done ever since they were announced. So, far, no issues at all. I used to use the Integral ones until one of them failed on me. I now keep my remaining ones as emergency spares.

I have used Lexar in my X-T4 and then 5 and have had no issues in nearly 5 years.

I have never heard bad things about Lexar.

I have used even cheaper cards (from integral) in UHS-II V60 format for several years and never had any issues either.

Lexar was once a strong brand and then they went bankrupt. As they sold off their assets, they sold the brand name. It was purchased by a company that rebranded the cheapest thing they could find and at first they continued that practice. I don't know what they are doing today yet I've stayed away because of mixed reviews.

Once upon a time, Lexar had some issues with some Nikon cameras.

I've used and had no issues with Sandisk for many years, and Samsung EVO for about five years, and more recently ProGrade when I wanted faster cards fro my X-T5.

I've never used Lexar. I stopped buying Sandisk because there's a lot of counterfeit ones and some reports of reliability issues. I've fully switched to ProGrade Digital now and I'm very happy with them. Expensive but they're very solid.

I've used Lexar and Sandisk and both have been OK. There are forgeries around so just be wise about where you buy. If Amazon make sure it is sold by Amazon not a 3rd party,
