I just got delivered a canon 1D mark iii from MPB. It is rated good condition but seems more like excellent to me. However the camera doesn't power on even when I charge the battery for hours. All three of the charging indicators start to blink green. What's more, the listing said it included eye cup but they didn't ship it. I'm on a bit of a time constraint as I'm on holiday here and only have the 14 day return period. I've already send my old camera to them to sell. An option I am considering is to rent a battery from Wex for £5 just to test if it is a fault with the battery or camera. Then I can just order a third party battery of Amazon, and if the camera is faulty I'll return it. The only problem is then I'll be left without a camera. I could also return it and try and get my old camera back? How likely do you guys think it's a battery or camera body issue? What should I do?
