I am all questions today. Anyway...

For those of you who use LUMARIVER Profile designer a quick question:

Once I have profiled my camera/sensor, must I only use the linear curve when editing?

Looking at some images I made this morning using my GFX 100sii, the linear curve is harsher in the transitions of the brightest tones of my image (sunrise through clouds for example) , but when I switch the curve in C1 to the ETERNA curve, I much prefer the roll-off in the highlights. This is not for reproduction purposes, but for general photography/ personal work.

Thanks in advance for your insights.

No. Use the tone curve that you prefer.

If you don’t need to try to match the scene colors, do what looks good to you.
Thanks in advance for your insights.
