Thanx, its a nice little lens.Excellent images, nice lenses, Paul!
Thanks,
Markus
Thanx, yes it performs quite good wide open. The bokeh can get a bit "nervous" at time though. Especially if you back up a little.Looking good wide open...nice pictures.

Thanx, havent had much time use it though. Looking forward to do some outdoor shooting with it.Darn nice work you did with that lens and a very nice collection of

How does it fare against the zeiss 50/2 IQ wise?

No it does not, have checked from F/1,4 to F/16.Does yours overexpose by 2/3 stop as reported in the Photozone review?
Beautiful images, BTW.

Interesting. Thanks for your reply. I wonder if this is the sort of thing that can happen with sample variation, or maybe it has to do with a particular camera. (Do you use a D200, which is what was tested with the lens on Photozone? Or something else?)No it does not, have checked from F/1,4 to F/16.
I will be loking out for that.Thanx, havent had much time use it though. Looking forward to do someDarn nice work you did with that lens and a very nice collection of

Hmm, that is my dilemma, I am looking for a 50ish MF prime to complete my MF trio.Well from F/2 the ZF 50/2 it shouldnt be a contest, but i think its
more about what subject you gonna use it for.
I hope you will post your opinion on the two once you have had some more time with the voigtlander.Again i havent had the lens long enough to form a strong opinion, nor
compare it head to head with my other lenses.
What will be your primary usage ? Do you need f/1,4? If money is no issue i would go for the 50/2 (unless you need F/1,4)I will be loking out for that.

28,50,85 and being relatively new to nikon it is a bit of a
struggle... I think I will go give the zeiss 50/2 a test run more.
Downside is I am not able to test neither voigtlander nor the Nikkor
AIS 50/1.2... oh well...
As soon as i get some time over to test them, ill try to post my findings.I hope you will post your opinion on the two once you have had some
more time with the voigtlander.
