I just picked up a new A1 Mk ll and everything has gone well setting it up. Different than my A7RV but not too bad.

One feature I can’t get working is the Focus Frame Display, which should show a focus box over the image during playback. I have set it to “on” and it still shows nothing.

Am I doing something wrong here? Other than on or off, there really are no other options I can see.

Any ideas? Thanks.

It works on mine for photos, provided when I took the photo the AF was locked on. I do not see it when I use MF.

And you have to look at the un zoomed in image. Once zoomed the box goes away. Also if you shot a group you have to press the center button to ungroup them before the focus box shows.

I'm using AF-C with tracking Zone S. I've tried burst and single frame with lossless compressed RAW files, and nothing shows.

I'm at a location now where I only have access to two APS-C lenses. Since everything else on the camera works 100% normally, I'm wondering if the focus frame display only works with full frame lenses. In a couple of weeks I'll be home and have access to my full frame lenses.

It's a minor glitch, but bothers me that I haven’t been able to figure it out yet.
