Focus bracketing - How to pick the right 'increment' on Lumix camera

I'm trying to understand the focus bracketing settings for Lumix cameras to generate a series of raw images for stacking in Photoshop or other software. Basically, the settings are for an increment between 1 to 10 ( fine to course) and then the image count. I believe that Olympus uses similar settings.

I have yet to find any documentation or YT video that gives you guidance on how to pick the best values and would greatly appreciate some suggestions.

The camera manuals are vague, for bugs etc at 1:1 try increment 3, perhaps 2 if it’s a higher magnification

try micael widell YouTube’s videos for getting started with bracketing , he’s a good teacher
