I know there's a new update to the nano to add Sekonic 858 but can't get to update. On the Adaroma website firmware page, the firmware link just takes me to the sales page. I downloaded the update from the godox site, Ive done this with other flashpoint products with no problems. I tried both launchers from flashpoint and godox but after successfully loading the .bin file and hit "update", a few seconds I get a device error.

Im on a M2 Mac and also tried it on my 2017 iMac with the same issue. Also using the G3 and the F3 launchers.

Anybody else tried to update the flashpoint version? I'm I missing something? I have flashpoint and godox triggers and strobes I have updated without issues for Years now... I see on these forums others have had no issue with the godox version.

Thanks for any solutions.

Many update problems are caused by using the wrong USB C cable. Check that the one you are using is not a power only cable.

Hi Dan,

Hopefully you've had success by now, but if not here are a couple of other things to try.

If you're using a Mac & trying the Godox firmware - make sure you're using the G3 V1.1 updater.

It seems you also need to tap on 'Update' within the menu of the transmitter itself as well as clicking 'update' within the computer app (on the transmitter menu go to Settings - Device Info.

Good luck - keep trying and maybe use a different order of commands.

Thats exactly what I was missing... Thanks...
