I updated the firmware a few months ago, but only this evening decided to connect my XT5 with the Fuji X-App. When it wouldn't connect, I remembered the warning on the firmware update page about it being unable to connect using Bluetooth 4.1 which had to be 4.2 or later.
For the life of me I can't figure out how to find out what version of Bluetooth I have on my tablet. It is on Androit 14. So I can't even figure out if the problem with connecting is due to that, or is just my usual problem with connecting with this (awful) softwared. I've had problems connecting every single time and when it finally does connect, I never have learned what I did to make it work! (Yes, i'm that dumb).
So, what do I do to make this work. The X-Ap lists the camera and lists the tablet. And next to the camera listing, I see BOTH a WIFI symbol and a Bluetooth symbol, the latter is blinking.
I click the button on the camera that opens the network connection. On the app, I click on import or live view shoot and it says it's tryinig to connect and nothing happens.

Somehow I got the XApp to work but not the Camera Remote (I have both installed).
