Hi all, i’m considering swapping systems (Nikon at the moment), as I really need RAW pre-capture (it’s a long story). I had narrowed it down to the Sony A1 II and the Canon R5 II, however i’ve seen a couple of reviews and a few users comment that the pre-capture on the Canon occasionally has issues tracking objects that move suddenly. So in the video I saw, they were focusing on a bird with pre-capture - the bird took off, but the focusing didnt move/track the bird, but rather stayed on the original focus point.
If anyone has had any experiences with Sony’s pre-capture I would be interested to know/confirm that this is not an issue with the A1 ii (of course I appreciate that the autofocus is never going to be 100% all the time)
