Question to those pro's that have used a digi tech or have a more elaborate setup in studio for multi screen setups.

Say you have your camera tethered into C1, how would you extend your display to other monitor screens for either crew or clients. I understand that Apple Macs can extend their screen onto an iPad (I think it's called sidecar?) however from my understanding, that would just be mirroring the main monitor or extending it.

Either way, if the tech has one image selected, I'm assuming that the side window would also be showing that image, not the latest frame in.

Perhaps the answer is C1 studio which allows for additional viewers. However I've never used this which is why I'm asking what people do when you want additional viewers for clients/crew.

I would sometimes shoot to my laptop (Mac Book Pro) and simply mirror it's display to a larger monitor (Apple Display) for my client (and everyone else who happens to be at the shoot) to look at.

If I stop shooting and selected an image on my laptop, that image would appear on both screens - but as soon as I would start shooting again, the latest captures would start to appear on both screens.

If I processed one of the images and then opened it up in Photoshop (or even just used Preview), I could leave that image on the Apple Display for the client to look at, while I continued to shoot. But to do that, I'd first need to turn of the 'mirror display'... as I'm sure you already know.
