Hey all,

Going down a rabbit hole here....

I'm sort of familiar with hex editing and modding firmware for small chinese action cameras, I was pretty high on the goprawn forum awhile back during the pandemic attempting to firmware mod my action camera that is now broken... Anyway. That got me thinking, there's definitely the ability to mod the Yi 4K action camera bitrate. I'm wondering if it's possible to decompile the Sony firmware and adjust video bitrates??? I know it's a super long shot but hey it might be fun trying...

I'm familar with using the HxD hex editor and ResourceHacker but I'm getting hung up at some of the files contained within Sony's exe file....

I've used 7zip to unlock the archived files within the exe and this is what I get. It looks like there's additional data in the "20" file but I'm not sure... All these other resource files are just different language versions and microsoft product files..

Anyone else get this far?
