Not sure where to post this, so I am posting on the PC Forum, and the Retouch Forum.
I have used PK Sharpener for many years but somehow screwed up my PC and some of my legacy Plug Ins and Filters. PK Sharpener works great for me because it has "Capture Sharpen", and allows for pre-sharpening old film negative or positive scans, based on film size type, etc.
I down loaded the free version of Photokit Sharpener. I printed out the "READ ME" file, and unzipped the file. I then went to C:>Program Files> Adobe>Photoshop CS6>Plugins and copied the PK Sharpener file there. I get the message to run as Administrator. However I never "Ran" anything, I only copied the Plugin file to it's intended place. When I open Photoshop CS6, open an image, then go to Automate> Photokit Capture Sharpener, I get the warning as seen on the screen shot. Hopefully someone can help here. It is a wonderful thing that the developers, when they went out of business, they posted a free full version as a thank you. Wow!
