Please excuse if this is in the wrong forum, but I thought I'd ask here since this relates to the custom profiles referred to in the forum.
I've decided to shoot some clips with the Beat Log II and also the EOSH D Z-Log L color profiles that I have loaded to my DSLR (D5300). I know the color space is sRGB so if I'm starting off grading in Davinci Resolve with a color space transforms node, am I better off starting with selecting sRGB as the input color space and gamma?
I was thinking of using the Darren Mostyn approach of outputting to Davinci Wide Gamut/Intermediate, grading with more nodes, and then putting a final node converting Davinci Wide Gamut to Rec 709, but I'm not sure about that first input color space and what others might recommend.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
