So, I recently gave up photoshop and moved my way over to affinity.

When I edited in photoshop I use camera raw 95% of the time.

What I like about camera raw i that I get all the opened images to show in the bottom as a preview so I can easily go through the images.

When I open images in affinity I only get the images as a tab on the top.

So, is there a way to make the image show as they do in camera raw?

Is the camera profile automatically selected or do you manually have to import (if so how?) and select it so you get the correct color profile?

And how do you select & export multiple images so you dont have to export them one by one?

All help is much appreciated!

Best regards

As a hobbyist, when I moved from Photoshop CS 6 to Affinity Photo when macOS dropped 32 bit support. I also needed to find a replacement for Adobe Bridge for bulk file renaming after import and an image browser.

I chose XnView MP, which is free for personal use and requires a license for professional use. You may want to look at this to see if it meets your workflow needs.

XnView understands the afphoto format (Affinity's alternative to Adobe's psd format for edited images) so you can see the afphoto. You can configure which programs you want to use to open a selected image file via the open with menu.

I am usually working on one image I have not investigated opening or exporting multiple images at a time.
