I use an Ad Blocker but I also subscribe to DPReview. When my login lapses I get a big error message about using an ad blocker. I can bypass it and continue, but I am a subscriber. You need a login link on that page so I can confirm my subscriber status and not have to bypass.

What do you mean “subscriber”? As far as I know they’ve not launched a paid option to turn off ads, so regardless of being logged in or not, you’ll periodically get the ad blocker prompt if you’re using one.

Everyone is correct - I thought I had a subscription that didn't show advertisements.

What I should have said is there should be a link to login to DPReview included with this message about ad blockers. When I am logged into my account I don't see this message, When I login it lasts for a while but expires.

I would gladly pay a reasonable fee to avoid advertisements - I do for other sites like PetaPixel.

I think there is (I see one) but the ad blocker you are using may also be blocking the script that shows the link

David,

We've been working on a similar subscription option for a while. Basically, it will provide an ad-free experience at a relatively low cost. It should be rolling out soon.
