I would like to set the SD Recording Mode as "Standard" when the Mode Dial is on 1, but as "Simultaneous" when the Mode Dial is on 2 or 3. In this way, I can set the MD at 1 when I don't worry about SD card failure and write to only 1 SD card. For important events, I can set MD at 2 or 3 so the images get written to both SD cards simultanously.
My finding is that the A9 does not allow these settings. In other words, I need to set it on either "Standard" or "Simulatneous" for all Mode Dial positions. Do I miss something? My A9 has the V6 firmware version.
