A7RV Firmware Update

My new A7RV is at Firmware 2.01 trying to figure out how to update the firmware using my Mac Studio at OS 13.7.3. I nedd to hold off updating until I sort out some other issues.

Imaging Edge Version 1.2.01.04030 can access the images files on the Camera, but no longer seems to have the ability to update firmware.

I tried to find Sony Creators' App in the App store but it's only available for iPads and iPhones.

I've heard somewheree that SOny now supprts upgrading firmware by downloading a file to the SD card (using the is method for years for Panasonic cameras) - I am not sure if this is true, and where would I get the firmware file?

If you just put Sony A7RV firmware update in a google search I'm sure you will find the Sony site where you can download the firmware, and yes you can do it using sd card these days.

In the UK this is where I found it.
