Was using camera for about 30 minutes in +2°C (35°F) until i noticed strange thing one shot i press shutter and it took longer than normal to operate onnce, i did not pay attention then taking more photos as usual worked fine then in 5 minutes i took photo in portrait orientation and shutter got stuck in closed position.

Showing message "Camera Error. Turn power off then on." turning off power did nothing message still show on screen however taking out battery briefly did the trick, then i try to repeat same shot holding camera portrait orientation and this time it took two photos and third time same error message, however this time removing battery did not solve anything, only after getting back indoors for 30 minutes and countless power on-power off cycles shutter released and now camera working fine again.

I have electronic front curtain enabled, what could be causing this issue?

The ambient temperature.

I used to find walking 200m with an A7R2 ar 2degC would reduce available power from 85% to 10%. I'd carry a spare in an inside pocket.

Hard to say without more testing but sounds like the battery wouldn't produce enough current to operate the camera. After 30mins indoors, the resistance dropped enough.

Had three batteries none worked even after battery and camera got warm, IMO its defective shutter as camera has signs of corrosion on the screws could be motherboard corroded also or shutter mechanism.

The battery compartment seal on the A7R2 leaks…

Don’t put it down on a wet surface.
