A7M2 firmware and digital level

It's been a while but I picked up a job shooting interiors so I'm getting the gear ready and I see my firmware needs upgrading. I've known of Sony taking features out in firmware and wondered if there are any gotchas going from ver 3.10 to 4.1 if anyone can remember.

Also, I'll be shooting mostly ultra-wide 17mm doing this and would really like the digital level to work on the LCD in live view. I only see it in the viewfinder but don't see complaints about this in searches so I wonder if I missed how to make it appear. or if its in one of the newer firmwares

Yup missed the setting heh. Works well enough for what I need now. So should I do the firmware? Looks like the new FW adds the ability to bind the finder/monitor switch to a button and that would be helpful, especially if I can turn the eye sensor off
