I recently acquired an A6000 monochrome by...

I'm wondering if there are any other owners out there using this monochrome conversion of the A6000.

This is interesting. The explanation on their website is easy to understand but begs the question: what happens exactly when we set the A6000 to B&W in the camera? Is there any special algorithm that being used (as opposed to converting it in PP)?

Thanxx, Mixx

I've been trying to shoot Tri-X in my A6000. Can anybody tell me where the film goes ?

I gave up on that and bought a used Leica M7 instead. Tri X loads great!

I understand the resolution gain by doing this but I prefer a color image to adjust the RGB channels during post processing to Black and White. I find this give me an added tool compared to just dodging and burning different parts of the image.

Horses for courses.
